At last count, Andy Anderson has lost more than a dozen high-end cameras to the elements. It’s an on-the-job hazard, but cracked lenses and dunked frames have done little to derail his career. 

As one of the deans of flyfishing photography, his work has appeared in most major flyfishing publications, as well as in Outside, Audubon, Condé Nast Traveler and Men’s Journal, where he began his career as the title’s first staff photographer. His advertising work—for Dodge, Harley Davidson, Nike and many others—ensures he has more frequent flier miles than most humans, while his 2014 book, Salt, written with Tom Rosenbauer, is a modern classic and was named a 2014 National Outdoor Book Award winner...
