From Fish Camp Collective and Visit Jackson Hole: "Guardians of the Snake is an intimate portrait of the Jackson Hole guide community, told through the voices of rookies, veterans, and the mentors who shaped them.
What begins with a guide’s season of failures unfolds into a celebration of resilience, craftsmanship, and the hidden labor behind every day on the water. As the film follows guides through their early-morning rigging rituals, on-river teaching moments, and reflections on legacy, it reveals how guiding becomes more than a profession, it becomes identity, family, and a frontline force for conservation.
Rooted in passion and passed down through generations, these guides stand as stewards of the Snake River, committed to preserving its wild spirit for those yet to come.
