While there’s not much within this track to tie into fly fishing as we usually like to do with our Playlist posts here on the Tailgate. But there is an indirect relation which counts. The first time we heard this song from Flower Travellin’ Band, it was in a skate video featuring David Gravette, while we were doing a bit of research prior to the Sidechannels Podcast in which David was a guest.
The second time we heard it was on a boat, actually fishing, with David. Now it’s in the rotaion because it absolutely rocks. And if the guitar parts don’t hit you like the smallmouth hit our flies that day, maybe get your ears checked, or your heart. Maybe both. And in the meantime, as usual, hit that play button, sneak the volume up a bit and enjoy. May the notes carry over to your next fishing excursion and cue the fish to slam your flies.
